| Älymystö - Atomgrad (onyx005) |
[29 Nov 2005|01:23am] |
So, well, it's out now.
Album release party @ Ravintolalaiva Wäiski (HKI) next thursday. Free entrance, welcome.
Lainaan Onyxiaa:
"Älymystö is the pulse of electronic phobias, unexpected structures of ambience, downbeat gateways and at times even glimpses of hard-stepping industrial and dark trip hop. The dissonant eerie noise treatments lead the listener towards perilous paths of a picturesque David Lynch movie while the trippy beats and atmospheric soundscapes drill through the auditory meatus like the music of Akira Yamaoka and Rika Muranaka. ‘Atomgrad’ is an internal research program of audio cosmetic desolation filled with sonic synthesis of rhythmic hypnosis and cold sculptured spheres."

| getting off the track |
[15 Dec 2004|11:56am] |
A stereotypical gothic girl eyes me with her strange eyes for a while and then comes to talk to me. You know, the official small talk to get one interested of something else than talking. In english this time, since I am not in Finland but on a small Baltic tour with my band and the bar I am in is the place we performed a couple of hours earlier.

| Esteri |
[23 Apr 2004|02:40pm] |
Yesterday I met Esteri on my way to my g/f's place after a somewhat bizarre live psychotic noiseindustrial evening at La-Bas, Kaapelitehdas.

| Wake-up call |
[27 Feb 2004|11:50am] |
11AM. Still half-asleep. My phone rings, anonymous untraceable number, again. This time it turned out to be somewhat different, though.

| A pile of clothes and a tale untold. |
[07 Sep 2003|10:45pm] |
I came by to a pile of clothes while returning from nightlife adventures last saturday night. There was trousers, boots, jacket and some other stuff too, in Kallio district of Helsinki, just by the street. Without too much a thought, I decided to grab the jacket with me since it looked ok and seemed abandoned.

| I'm not dead |
[22 Aug 2003|01:59am] |
I'm not dead. I'm not feeling dead either. :)
Isn't it nice - I almost never tell you what really happens in my life? :) Don't worry, nothing too dramatic. I just don't find the current events in my life interesting enough for you.
But I'm alive, that was the point.

| brain panic - press nose to reboot |
[28 Jul 2003|02:38am] |
A while ago I realized that I have serious mental problems, and that I really need to get some professional help at some point. It was somewhat a strange feeling, really - well, perhaps you'll experience it some day too.
I'm already feeling quite normal again and most likely the doctor will have to wait.

| A cup of coffee and a morning |
[23 Jun 2003|01:51pm] |
I just realized why I always make twice as much coffee than I need. More than often, I manage ruin the first half by pouring spoiled milk to the cup.
Also, I still haven't had a day without tobacco nor alcohol. I'm starting to get a bit worried.

| Incident in a bar |
[18 Jun 2003|11:00pm] |
When she first came to our table, she greeted us with a friendly gesture of pouring her jug of cider on my friend's head. Then she proceeded to introduce herself by taking my friend's beer, and throwing it to the ceiling.
